Bunnies Never Forgotten

Havarti

Havarti was saved from the Trinity, AL dump and abuse case in July, 2022. He was deaf due to parasites, was malnourished, and had lived a rough life in the Alabama heat, desperate for food. 

He passed away overnight after being rescued, but not before his foster mom told him that he was safe and he was loved. He is buried in her backyard.

Forest

Forest was a baby silver fox rabbit that was dumped in a neighborhood by a breeder in Meridianville. He was taken in by a foster family and loved, but sadly passed after a week due to complications and infection surrounding a wolfworm he had become infected with during his time surviving outside (bunnies kept outside are at risk) and pre-existing conditions. Dr. Moore kept him throughout the night

Ozzy

Ozzy was saved by a good Samaritan  family from bad living conditions. They took care of her and fostered her through preparation for spay for eventual adoption to a new home through our rescue. Sadly, she passed shortly afterwards, while in recovery. She was well-loved.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg was just a baby when she was found behind a Home Depot, dumped near The Palladian at Promenade in early 2022. A kind woman involved in our Facebook group community offered to foster her and ended up adopting her. She had a wonderful loving family in a home with a few other small girl bunnies and a best friend bunny named Abner whom she bonded to. Unfortunately she passed away later in the y
